Record Results in 2009!

I am delighted to report that the vast majority of pupils obtained strong results in 2008-09 and achieved the best ever set of results at the end of Key Stage 1 (age 7) and at GCSE (age 16).  These are record results for our school and strengthen its official status as an ‘Outstanding’ and ‘High Performing School’.

I thank staff and parents for their combined efforts and congratulate pupils upon their successes.  Well done everyone!

Here are our results for 2009.  Please note that some of the national results are for 2008 because we have yet to receive the official 2009 results.  However, the national 2008 and 2009 results will be very similar, which means that comparisons between BSM’s and the national results can be relied upon.

Key Stage 1 (age 7) Results - The expected standard of attainment at the end of Key Stage 1 is Level 2C.  The table shows the percentage of pupils who achieved at or beyond each level compared to the national averages for England.

Congratulations!
