Pastoral Care

Pastoral Care comprises all that British School Muscat undertakes to support and promote the personal and social development and well-being of our pupils. It prepares them to be personally and socially effective, by providing learning experiences in which they can develop and apply skills, explore personal attitudes and values and acquire appropriate knowledge and understanding.

We are committed to ensuring that all our pupils benefit from a broad and balanced curriculum, which will help develop self-esteem and equip them to choose a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle. We hope that it will also enable them to be more informed, confident and skilled to interact effectively with others and enable them to take an active and responsible part in society.

We appreciate that the success of our Pastoral Care is largely dependent upon the consistency of values and standards between home and school. We believe that this will help promote the personal and social development of the individual.
