How can parents help?

How can parents help?

  • Read daily with your child (Not always the need for the whole book).
  • Sign the reading diary please and record pages read.
  • Help your child to practise their spellings.
  • Help your child achieve their Numeracy target.
  • Be aware of the current topics and talk about them with your child.
  • Let us know of any changes in your child’s daily routine.
  • Let the nurse know if your child is ill.
  • Label all your child’s belongings.
  • Volunteer to help in class or on school trips!
  • If you wish to send in a birthday treat for your child’s class, individual pieces are helpful as the teacher does not have time to make individual slices. No party bags thank you!
