The British School – Muscat is one of the leading schools in the Middle East.  It is a not-for-profit, non-selective, co-educational, British international day school that provides a comprehensive and balanced education to a mix of 905 English speaking expatriate pupils aged 3 – 18 (47 nationalities, 58% British). 

The school follows an enhanced National Curriculum for England and produces excellent SAT, GCSE and A Level results, placing it within the top 5% of non-selective schools in England.  The school prepares children for a British and international future.

The school requires high calibre professionals to join its team of first rate staff who enjoy enviable teaching and lifestyle conditions. 

Applicants should be dedicated, innovative and inspiring teachers who qualified in the UK and have a minimum of two years’ recent experience of the National Curriculum for England, GCSEs and A Levels. 

The School follows the AQA and Edexcel syllabi.

Primary School    

We would like to hear from Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 teachers.

Middle School

We would appreciate receiving applications from teachers capable of teaching at least two or more of the following subjects within Key Stage 3.

Secondary School

We would welcome applications from teachers and Heads of Department for all subject disciplines and who have experience of teaching their subject up to A Level.
